COOKE & PROSPECTS AT 8-RINKS06/23/06
Matt Cooke hit the ice today out at Burnaby 8-Rinks with the top six prospects in the upcoming 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Eric Johnson, Jordan Staal, Phil Kessel, Jonathan Toews, Derick Brassard and Peter Mueller joined 'Cookie'and 30 minor hockey players from the Lower Mainland in an annual skills camp. This year the NHL and the Canucks Centre for BC Hockey put on the camp which had the kids running drills alone, then working with the top prospects before lining up for autographs on the bench.
