After having a few days off to think about their situation, the Canucks were back at General Morors Place today for media availability and practice which will take place later this afternoon. It was a frenzy of video cameras and news reporters in the dressing room today since the team and especially Markus Naslund have been under the media microscope in the past week. Trevor Linden comments on his reaction to the media chatter in the audio clip below.

Following the Canucks media availability, Marc Crawford spoke out to the media and gave a progress report on some of the injured Canucks. Ed Jovanovski is feeling a lot better and is set to skate with the team this afternoon. The decision of whether or not Ed will join the lineup on Saturday's game will be dependent on how he is feeling during Saturday's morning skate. Matt Cooke will not skate with the team today, however he has progressed to taking part in light exercise along with the rest of the team.
