Nucks Prepare For Game Three
03/24/06
After a shoot-out win that was both exciting and a little nerve-racking the Canucks were in good spirits during practice this morning. Today was a maintenance day for some of the players like Mattias Ohlund, and Trevor Linden who didn't make it to practice but the rest of the team was out skating hard and preparing for their third and final game of the series against Edmonton tomorrow night.
Today's skate involved systems, working three on three as well as taking shots at net. The Canucks gave Alex Auld a bit of a break today, and instead Mika Noronen worked on his defensive skills between the pipes. Ryan Kesler was the player in demand today, and was asked how he liked playing on the first line in yesterday's game. Check out the audio clips.
