The four newest members of the Vancouver Canucks all arrived in time for a 12:00pm practice at Burnaby 8-Rinks. Eric Weinrich arrived last night along with Sean Brown, while Mika Noronen and Keith Carney arrived just this morning with Carney only making it on time due to some great work behind the scenes by the Canucks scouting department. All seemed to be very happy in their new digs and will be in the lineup on Saturday against the Stars..... More on that later.
There were a ton of media at the practice this morning and I think the regular Canucks were happy to not have the focus on them when the hoards hit the dressing room. Each of the coaches took time out to speak to the new guys and Crow let the media in on a few tidbits, saying that Weinrich and Carney will likely have each other as partners to start out and that Noronen will start against either Nashville or Dallas on the upcoming road trip.
