Perhaps a little bit of fear isn't such a bad thing after all! Anson Carter believes that being forced to play out of their comfort zone has if anything been beneficial for the Canucks recently. Despite having blue liners out with bumps and bruises, the team was able to work together and managed a 2-1 win over the Flames in Calgary, Tuesday. Another reason why the Canucks may have been successful is that they realize the last stretch of games is crucial especially when it could mean home ice-advantage in the play-offs.

The Canucks skated this morning in sunny Nashville feeling energized and ready to go before they take on the predators tonight in their second contest against the team this season. Nolan Baumgartner skated today with the rest of the team and is happy that he'll be back with the blue line boys tonight. Alex Auld will be starting again for the team. Game time is 5:00 pm on Sportsnet Pacific.
