The Canucks had a strong practice in the Saddledome today to prepare them for their first match-up after the Olympic break against their "rivals", The Flames tonight in Calgary. Although "D" man, Nolan Baumgartner has been feeling better lately, he is going to sit this one out tonight.

Sven Butenschon however, looked as though he has settled in well with the team, and is ready to step up and help out the Canucks back end. Speaking of settling in well with the team, Maxime Ouellet finally looks like a full fledged "Canuck", now that he is sporting his new team helmet and goalie gear.

With only 23 games left of regular season, tonight's game will be a big test for the Canucks who are struggling with a few injuries right now. On the upside, the situation should force to the Canucks to really focus and work together as a team, Marc Crawford comments below.

All the Olympians has a safe flight back from Turin, Italy and met the team in Calgary today after practice. Alex Auld will be starting for the Canucks tonight, game time is 6:00 pm on Sportsnet Pacific.
