After a strong kick off to their long home-stretch before the Olympics, the Canucks were back at practice today in order to prepare for what they hope will be a victory over the St. Louis Blues. The last few times the two teams met the Blues were able to take the win, but the Canucks plan to change that when they play St. Louis tomorrow.
Richard Park was skating with the Canucks today after sitting out since January 11th with a knee injury. There is a chance that Park may play before the Olympic break, but it is definite that Matt Cooke will not. Nolan Baumgartner was missing from practice today due to a bruised foot, and did not play the last two games. On a more positive note, Alex Auld has played 32 out of 35 games and shows no sign of excessive fatigue yet, he comments below on playing through the long home stretch.
