Today's practice at 8-Rinks not only brought a large group of fans to Burnaby, but fulfilled a well-deserved wish of one very special fan. Georgious Bourodemos, was all smiles as he had the opportunity to meet and skate with his hero, Markus Naslund which was facilitated by the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada and the Vancouver Canucks.
Georgious Bourodemos is an energetic and well spoken little boy that has been battling limphoblastic leukemia the last four years. Georgious had a great skate with Markus, and handled the puck very well as they did a bit of passing at center ice.
