Morning Skate With Markus

After practice on January 20th, 2006, a very special fan had his well-deserved wish fulfilled. Georgious Bourodemos was all smiles as he had the opportunity to meet and skate with his hero Markus Naslund. The meeting was facilitated by the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada and the Vancouver Canucks.

Georgious Bourodemos is an energetic and well spoken little boy that has been battling limphoblastic leukemia the last four years. Georgious had a great skate with Markus, and handled the puck very well as they did a bit of passing at center ice.
