The entire Vancouver Canucks roster and coaching staff spent a night on the town on December 6th, 2005 raising money for the Canucks for Kids Fund and BC Special Olympics at the annual . Also in attendance were several Canucks alumni including Kirk McLean, Greg Adams, Orland Kurtenbach and many others.

Before the evening formally began, Canuck players spent time playing table hockey with their Special Olympian friends and having their photos taken with attendees. The night was capped off with a keynote address from hockey legend Mike Bossy followed by a hockey panel discussion on the "new NHL" that included Canucks winger Trevor Linden, Canucks GM Dave Nonis, and long-time Broadcaster Tom Larscheid. This year's event was another sell-out with more than 600 people in attendance. Last year's event raised more than $250,000. All proceeds go directly to the Canucks for Kids Fund and BC Special Olympics.
