Today was an optional skate for the team, followed by the Blackhawks practice. Tonight the Canucks will take on the Hawks who are on a roll, coming off three straight wins. Game time is 7:00 on Sportsnet Pacific. The Canucks are tied for first in their division and currently hold on to the 7th spot in the league with 28 points.

The Canucks talked to the media today about the Jiri Fischer incident, and Matt Cooke, who made it out to skate was in a great mood and joked around with the media. We caught a few of the Blackhawks in their dressing room after practice to talk about gelling better as a team, and their recent winning streak. Check out the audio!
