Canuck Place Celebrates its 10th Anniversary
October 23/2005 - In 1995 Canuck Place opened as North America's first free-standing children's Hospice. Since then, Canuck Place provides outstanding hospice care free of charge to children and their families and is regarded as one of the leading children's hospices in the world.

On Sunday October 23, 2005 Trevor Linden joined staff and special guests at Canuck Place to celebrate 10 years of courage, comforting and compassion with their first decade anniversary. The theme of the event was "Music and Memories," Honouring 10 years of Canuck Place Children's Hospice. The entertainment featured David Bouchard, award winning children's author, as Master of Ceremonies along with special guests - Cirque Kids and the Universal Gospel Choir.
Trevor Linden who has been with Canuck Place from its conception to now spoke on behalf of his continuing support of Canuck Place and the importance of teamwork on and off the ice.
