PrintEat, Read, and Score with the Canucks!
On Sunday, September 26, Vancouver Canucks legend and Director of Player Personnel, Stan Smyl and Canucks Mascot Fin teamed up for this special Brunch for Books event hosted by the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. Partial proceeds went to the CanWest Raise-A-Reader campaign in support of children's literacy.

Close to 100 members of the community enjoyed brunch with Stan and Fin followed by an interactive reading of Dr. Suess' "Oh the Pets You Can Get" for the children in attendance. After the reading, each child received an autographed copy of the new favorite, courtesy of scholastic books for them to read and enjoy at home.
