The Canucks had a quick skate this morning at General Motors Place in preparation for their one and only game of the season vs. the Montreal Canadiens. Today was an optional skate, but Ed Jovanovski managed to make it out with the team who was sporting the old vintage sweaters for the last time this season. Saku Koivu and his fellow Canadiens hit the ice for their practice following the Canucks.

The Canucks have been doing well lately winning 6 of their last 7 games, and aim to get one more in at home before embarking on a season-high 7 game road trip. Montreal won their first two games under the direction of their new coach Bob Gainey, but have only won 1 of their last 15 road games. Alex Auld will be starting tonight for the Canucks and game time is 7:00 pm
