TRAINING CAMP AT WHISTLER
09/14/05

Click here for the Audio Clips

It's the third day of camp and the players have are now in Whistler for practices and team building exercises. The regulars hit the ice at 9:00am and skated until just after 10:30 when they went in for dry land while the rest of the guys hit the ice at 10:45. Luc Bourdon joined the main group of players along with newcomers Steve McCarthy, Richard Park, Anson Carter, Craig Darby, Jason Doig and Fedor Fedorov.

As you can see the back hallway is a little cramped but it serves it's purpose well. It is a nice enclosed space and keeps the players all in one area for the trainers and medical staff.
The boys skated pretty hard today and then had a very hard dryland session with Roger Takahashi before being cut loose for the rest of the day. During the drills, Markus Naslund and Todd Bertuzzi occupied themselves by playing pass cross-ice style.
