| PERSONAL Grew up in Edmonton where he played his minor hockey. Played one season with the Spruce Grove Saints of the Alberta Junior Hockey League and at Western Michigan University prior to playing with the Vancouver Giants of the WHL. Set Vancouver Giants single-season records for most goals (24) and most points (72) by a defenceman. Won the Hardest Shot Competition at the 2012 AHL All-Star Game at 99.4 MPH.
