| PERSONAL Weise played three-years of junior hockey for the Swift Current Broncos of the WHL. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 4th round, 111th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, signed his first professional contract with the team months later on September 19, 2008, and turned pro that season with the Hartford Wolf Pack.
