| PERSONAL Jason was born in White Rock, BC and began his junior career with the Richmond Sockeye's of the PIJHL. After playing three years with the University of Minnesota-Duluth he was signed by the Florida Panthers. He set a Florida Panther's record for most goals in a season by a defenceman with 16 in 2011-12. He marched in the Vancouver Pride Parade along with teammate Manny Malhotra.
