Analysis: Rahimi is a big, menacing blueliner who has no problems with running opposition into the boards with his over-whelming strength. He has developed a mean-streak as a player and usually comes out on top of any tussle he gets in. He uses his size and strength to his advantage every play and is terrific at stopping a streaking winger along the boards, or clogging up the neutral zone. He has the potential to be a top-defensive pairing player in the NHL.
