| PERSONAL Marc-André Gragnani was born in Montreal,Quebec and played junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In 2010 the AHL awarded him the Eddie Shore Trophy for the most Oustanding Defenseman. In 2011, he broke both of his own records, by registering 48 assists and 60 points, in a single season, as a defenceman. He started off on the right foot notching his first NHL goal in overtime.
