Bure began his professional career in 1987 as a 16 year-old with the Soviet Union's Central Red Army. Collecting championships and setting goal-scoring records alongside linemates and future NHL All-stars, Sergei Fedorov and Alexander Mogilny, Bure became a highly sought after NHL prospect.
