Canucks Alumni take time for ‘suite’ experience
Long after their NHL careers, members of the Canucks Alumni Association remain dedicated to connecting with fans at Rogers Arena. One of the many ways that our former Canucks have demonstrated this was through the Canucks Alumni Suite Experience this past season. In addition to participating in countless events throughout the province, a select few Alumni took time this past season to make a series of exclusive, in-game visits with Rogers Arena suiteholders.
Popping into our Executive Suites between the upper and lower bowls, Garry Valk, Dary Rota, Glen Hanlon, Harold Snepsts and Jack McIlhargey each gave dozens of VIP fans the thrill of meeting a former Canucks star. Over the course of an intermission, Alumni shared stories, signed autographs and held in-suite raffles for vintage jersey giveaways.
The exclusive visits provided fans a rare opportunity to interact with Alumni in a private and intimate setting, strengthening the link between today’s fanbase and the team’s past. Be sure to take a look at our photo gallery (WEB – please link here) to see a select few of these special moments.
And if you happen to find yourself in one of our Executive Suites in the coming season, be sure you are on-hand at intermission – you never know when a former Canuck might walk through your door!
