Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled defenceman Frank Corrado from the AHL Chicago Wolves.
Corrado, 20, recorded two assists in three games with the Wolves this season. Prior to joining the Wolves, the Toronto, ON, native compiled 45 points (7-38-45) in 69 OHL games in 2012.13 with the Sudbury Wolves and Kitchener Rangers. His 27 points (6-21-27) in 41 games with Sudbury led all Wolves defencemen in scoring at season’s end. He finished third on the Rangers among defenceman with 18 points (1-17-18) in 28 games played.
In his professional hockey debut with the Chicago Wolves in 2011.12, he collected an assist in four regular season games and dressed in two Wolves playoff games.
The 6’2”, 190-pound defenceman was originally selected by Vancouver 150th overall in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
