Canucks reassign Nicklas Jensen to Wolves

Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have reassigned forward Nicklas Jensen to the AHL Chicago Wolves.

Jensen, 20, registered two hits in two games with Vancouver, making his NHL debut Apr. 1 at San Jose. Prior to joining the Canucks, he collected four points (2-2-4) in 11 games with the Wolves.

The 6’3” forward recorded 23 points (17-6-23) in 50 games with AIK Stockholm of the Swedish Elite League in 2012.13. He led AIK and all SEL rookies in goal scoring and finished tied for 11th for most goals scored in the SEL.

Jensen was originally selected by Vancouver in the first round, 29th overall, in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
