Vancouver, B.C. – Vancouver Canucks President and General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled centre Jordan Schroeder from the Chicago Wolves.
Schroeder, 22, has split the 2012.13 season between the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Wolves. Schroeder collected five points (2-3-5) in 22 games with Vancouver. During his tenure with the Canucks the 5’8”, 175 pound centre appeared in his first NHL game (Jan. 23/13 vs CGY), recorded his first NHL point (Jan. 25/13 at ANA) and notched his first NHL goal (Feb. 9/13 at CGY). Schroeder has also collected 23 points (10-13-23) in 33 games with the Wolves.
The Burnsville, Minnesota, native was originally drafted in the first round, 22nd overall by Vancouver in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
